Pin Shooting

Pin Shooting is a shooting sport practised in Malta, South Africa and the USA. It mainly consists of a duel between two shooters, firing at bowling pins from a fixed distance using either a pistol or a carbine.

The objective is simple: knock down all five pins off the table before your opponent does.

In Malta, Pin Shooting has been going strong since July 2012, when Range Officer Christopher Vella took over the sport shortly after its first introduction on the island.

In recent years, the discipline has evolved to use steel pins, which are far more efficient in terms of cost and time during competitions.

Beginners and non-licensed shooters are welcome to experience this exciting discipline using academy pistols or carbines under the supervision of a qualified Range Officer or Firearms Instructor.

We also offer Pin Shooting as a corporate team-building activity, providing a fun, competitive, and professionally supervised experience at the shooting range.
